Kings vs Pacers: Pacers 52, Kings 52, Half-Time
The Pacers had a strong offensive second quarter but found themselves in a tough spot after they lost a five-point advantage late in the game. Obi Toppin turned the ball over due to a moving screen, opening up Malik Monk for a three on the next play. Then with about six seconds remaining, Andrew Nembhard coughed up the ball. T.J. McConnell almost pulled off a steal, but amidst the chaos, Malik Monk dropped in a floater in the lane just as the buzzer sounded, forcing overtime.
Kings vs Pacers: Pacers 87, Kings 78, Third Quarter
The Kings worked hard in the final minutes of the third quarter to cut the lead and got it down to six when De’Aaron Fox made a jumper. Ben Sheppard answered quickly with a three from the corner to set the lead back to nine. Tyrese Haliburton made an important defensive play as he blocked Fox from taking another shot at the end of the quarter.
Kings vs Pacers: Pacers 122, Kings 95, end of game
The Pacers played very well throughout the entire game, never letting their energy dip. One of the high points of the game was when James Johnson did a smart drive-and-dish play that ended in a dunk by Johnny Furphy, which got the bench laughing. The Pacers ended up winning the game by their largest margin of the season, showing their strength on the court.
