NBA MVP 2024 Race: MVP Rankings

The season now one-third over, the race for Most Valuable Player is gaining its clarity. Of course, some remarkable performances have already taken place by certain players; however, at least as things stand today, Nikola Jokić sits atop the mountain as we first reported in November.

It was the player performance that saw significant swing as the season unfolded. Joel Embiid is the one who did not even make the original list, but he has not played enough games to count on the 65-game threshold. The same with Anthony Davis; after how badly the Lakers are now playing, he also slid out of the top five.
