NBA League Pass Price Hikes in 2024-25 Regular Season

The Hike of the Price of Regular Season 2024-2025

The 2024-25 Regular Season just got a little expensive. The NBA League Pass is increasing prices for its monthly and annual subscription tiers, making it the latest streaming service to raise its prices.

As reported by NBA TV, the increase in price for NBA League Pass started with raising its annual plan rate by $10 per month each; individuals can now stream League Pass for an entire season for $109.99 or League Pass Premium at $159.99.

Rise In NBA League Pass Price Hikes

  • NBA League Pass will be increasing the price of both its annual plans by $10 each.
  • The cost of League Pass’s monthly plan is also increasing by $2.
  • This allows viewers to stream non-national NBA games that don’t feature the team in their current market using League Pass.

The service has raised the price on monthly plans to $2. This puts League Pass at an astronomical $16.99 a month, or League Pass Premium at an even more astronomical $24.99. Premium subscribers will be able to watch on up to three devices at one time, cut out commercials, and gain access to in-arena streams. Both plans will include a live stream of the NBA TV channel.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) allows subscribers to pay for a single-team subscription called Team Pass. The discount plan costs $13.99 per month or $89.99 annually and allows viewers to watch games by their chosen team if that team’s game is not on local television or national broadcasts such as on ABC, ESPN, or TNT.

Local blackout restrictions apply to all League Pass subscription plans. You won’t be able to view games where teams are appearing on broadcast or cable channels (including regional sports networks) in a given region; you’ll never be able to stream any Hawks games with League Pass while in or around Atlanta if you are a Hawks fan.

The NBA League Pass does grant fans the ability to hear live audio broadcasts of all games played by the National Basketball Association on any given night, including their local teams. Fans can begin signing up for the service today; the 2024-25 season tips off on a Tuesday, Oct. 22 in a doubleheader on TNT. The early game matches the New York Knicks against the NBA champion Boston Celtics at 7:30 p.m. ET as the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers do battle at 10 p.m. ET. League Pass tips off on Oct. 23 with a full slate of games.

Fans who don’t care about missing a few months of the NBA season to get it at a cheaper price should look out for a league pass subscription new year. In January last year, the league slashed League Pass by 50% so that fans could watch critical playoff races up close at a superb price.
