All-Time Records: New York Knicks Statistics and Notable Performances

The Knicks have perennially provided some of the most brilliant moments by a single player in NBA history over the years. Their all-time records show just how much pure talent has graced Madison Square Garden.

  • All-Time Leading Scorer: The all-time leading scorer of the Knicks is Patrick Ewing, who scored 23,665 points in his stint with the team from 1985 to 2000. Ewing was the complete embodiment of the Knicks in the late 1980s and the entire 1990s, going on to become an iconic figure in New York.
  • Assists Leader: The all-time leading assisted for the Knicks is Walt Frazier, with 4,791 over his Hall of Fame career. With Frazier, the court vision and defensive presence made him one of the best point guards in NBA history.
  • Rebound Leader: Patrick Ewing also maintains the franchise record in rebounds, having pulled down 10,759 boards during his days with the Knicks.
  • Single-Season Win Record: The New York Knicks’ best regular season was in 1992-93, under the stewardship of head coach Pat Riley, finishing with a sterling 60-22 record. This season was marked by the robust defensive performance of the squad, but again, that season did not result in a championship.
