Charlotte Hornets Background
The Charlotte Hornets team started in 1988. Here was a new team making its first appearance in the National Basketball Association. The team was based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They became famous due to their colors: teal and purple. The Charlotte Hornets logo shows a hornet carrying a ball.
It started as a small team but grew with time.
