RJ Hampton, selected 24th overall in the draft, is under fire from fans after footage emerged of him arguing with his ex-partner, Tiffany Jeffcoat. In the video, Jeffcoat says Hampton hurt her physically. She posted the footage online on Monday. Hampton and Jeffcoat have a one-year-old son named Halo.
During the meeting, Jeffcoat and Halo, who had traveled for 11 hours to consult with Hampton, engaged in a heated discussion concerning their son. The conversation turned to physical abuse, in which the former Miami Heat player allegedly made light of his ex-partner’s experiences with such abuse.
After the confrontation, Jeffcoat posted a TikTok video that has since been taken down in which she claimed that she was left in Oklahoma and the NBA player took their son.
“R.J. took Halo, left the property, went inside his car, and left,” she said. “He did not tell me where they were going. He did not take any of his stuff. He’s not allowed to.”
The authorities could not do anything as this was a “civil matter” even though she requested to get help. Not that Hampton keeps mum about his ex-partner’s claim but makes people wonder. However, that aside, Jeffcoat’s latest Instagram story with a photo of her and Halo gives enough indication of how tough she is
