What was the prize money for the 2023 NBA Cup?
This year’s in-season tournament pays out a little higher than last year. The boost is credited to the league’s Collective Bargaining Agreement. According to the CBA, an increase in prize money by taking a base amount from the first year of the NBA Cup and multiplying it by an increase in “Basketball Related Income” or BRI.
The prize money of the NBA Cup has increased nearly by 3% during this season. This upward trend is expected to follow with the league’s growing revenues in the coming years.
